Abstract

This publication deals with the phenomena of vehicular traffic flow, and consists of five chapters and three appendices. Chapter I describes the hydrodynamic approaches, whilst car-following, acceleration noise, queuing theory and traffic flow simulation are discussed in the three following chapters. Experiments and applications are reviewed in chapter V, and the bibliography is represented in the appendices.
