Abstract
An inventory is made for the present available continued driver training programmes for drivers of cars and lorries in The Netherlands. The impact of such continued diver training can be threefold: (1) decrease of the number of damages and injuries; (2) decrease of energy use (fuel consumption); and (3) decrease of the pollution. A matrix is given of general characteristics of the different continued driver training programmes. The content of the courses, which are relevant for the study, is described per institute.
