This note is a summary of our methods of measuring some functional and structural properties of paved roads by means of the Benkelman Beam, the Bump Integrator, the Danish Deflectograph, the Dynatest Falling Weight Deflectometer, and the Danish Stradograph. The methods of measuring the parameters and processing the results by computers are described. The various equipment is designed for use on all types of roads. Existing information regarding the chainage, the district of the maintenance unit, and the amount of traffic can be transferred from the Road Data Bank or entered into datafiles. At the end the results are transferred to the Road Data Bank or printed and sent to the giver of the assignment.
