Abstract

An inventory of 78 selected mathematical models relating to the motor vehicle system is presented. The models included describe some impact on society and/or the environment and many have the potential use in policy-related analysis. Subject areas covered by the models include automobile demand, fuel consumption and economy, air pollution, market share, model split, and vehicle miles traveled.
