Abstract

The maximum number of demonstrators that could congregate in an orderly manner on the sidewalk in front of the White House, without impeding the normal flow off pedestrian traffic is determined. An investigation was made for a) a circulating demonstration; b) a stationary demonstration and c) a walk-by demonstration.
