Abstract

A Canadian study to obtain data to evaluate the effectiveness of 3-point restraint systems as well as to understand the relative importance of the vehicle interior, space preservation and occupant restraint for fully restrained occupants in actual collision experiences, is reported. The method of collecting data, results and observations are included.
