Abstract

The evaluation of longitudinal centerline stripes was based on daytime and nighttime observations as described in the ASTM-specifications. The results reconfirm these paints as being longer wearing than the Missouri dispersion resin-varnish paint. An alternate rating system for measuring the night visibility of each stripe was found to compare very well with the rating as specified by the ASTM (See also B 3255).
