Abstract
Deals with study in 2 comparable residential districts in Rotterdam Northeast into supermarket shopping. In Alexanderpolder the retail facilities are more dispersed than in Ommoord. Short distance appears to be in principle the prevailing destination choice factor. When travel distances are longer (like in Ommoord) the price factor becomes more and more decisive.
