Abstract

Within the scope of activities for the Campinas Traffic Safety and Education Projects, the focus is on multidisciplinary forces, since the planned educational process requires a multidisciplinary approach to identifying the accident causes. To obtain consistent and lasting results, different sectors of the society must be brought into the programme. This programme has been in operation since 1993, with annual projects aimed at creating sensitivity in the community for traffic safety. The French title of this paper is: "La participation des segments de la société dans la réduction des accidents".
