Abstract

The Costa Rica- Israel driver improvement program aims to reduce road deaths and injuries by increased detection and deterrence of four high- risk driver behaviours: speeding at a point, speeding between two points, tailgating and headway- gating. The MAROM system which makes it possible to provide an extremili high level of deterrence, is described.
