Abstract

The application of intelligent transport systems is a challenge for both the countries in transition such as Hungary and the developed countries. The possibility for co-operation in this field is offered at several levels, provided the different countries are ready to learn from each other within the framework of co-operation. International organisations - such as ERTICO - have to try to do all in their field of competence in order to facilitate meeting the challenge of the application of telematics in both countries in transition and developed countries by way of co-operating and learning from each other. For the covering abstract see ITRD E114174.
