Im Jahresbericht 2007/2008 wird das 25-jährige Standortjubiläum der Bundesanstalt für Straßenwesen in Bergisch Gladbach-Bensberg zum Anlass genommen, auf die Arbeitsergebnisse der vergangenen Jahre zurückzublicken und den Blick in die Zukunft zu richten. Ausgewählte Beiträge aus allen Fachdisziplinen der BASt zeigen, welche Themen von den Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern der BASt in den letzten Jahren bearbeitet wurden, wo die Schwerpunkte heute liegen und wie die Aufgaben der Zukunft aussehen. Außerdem wird ein kurzer Rückblick auf den Bau der Dienstgebäude in Bensberg und die Entwicklung der BASt in den letzten 25 Jahre gegeben sowie über den Tag der offenen Tür berichtet, an dem das Standortjubiläum in Bensberg zusammen mit etwa 4.000 Gästen gefeiert wurde. Die letzten Jahre waren altersbedingt geprägt von vielen personellen Wechseln – auch in der Leitungsebene. Der Generationswechsel ist damit in der BASt nahezu abgeschlossen. Das Kapitel „Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter“ informiert über die personellen Entwicklungen und Auszeichnungen der Beschäftigten sowie über den Wechsel des Präsidenten im Jahr 2008. Abgerundet wird der Jahresbericht mit den Aktivitäten der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, der Internationalen Zusammenarbeit, einer Zusammenstellung der Publikationen der Jahre 2007 und 2008 sowie Datenbanken und -sammlungen. English abstract: The 2007/2008 annual report made use of the 25-year anniversary of the Federal Highway Research Institute's premises in Bergisch-Gladbach-Bensberg as an opportunity to look back over the achievements during this time and to make some predictions for the future. Selected contributions from all disciplines covered by the BASt show which subjects have been the focus of work by BASt staff in recent years, what the focal points are today and what tasks we will be facing in the future. In addition, there is a brief overview of the construction of the office buildings in Bensberg and the development of the BASt over the past 25 years, as well as a report of the open day held in Bensberg that coincided with the anniversary of the site, which we celebrated together with approximately 4 000 guests. In recent years, there have been many personal changes for age reasons, including at managerial level. This means that the BASt has almost been handed over to the new generation.
