Abstract

To describe the driver' ability to judge distance and time to an oncoming car by using; fixed criterion values for distance and time. This ability was examined separately for fixed criterion values for 400 foot and of time for 7 seconds, with a 20 mph constant velocity for both vehicles. Criterion values for 1000 feet and for7 seconds were also used at a constant velocity of 50 mph for both vehicles.
