Abstract

Thesis dealing with the characteristics of urban traffic structure. A comparative analysis of current traffic studies with regard to traffic research processes and characteristics of traffic structure is made. A random sample of staying and movement behaviour of residents in the southern part of Amsterdam is analysed.
