Abstract
In urban areas great difference in road types exist. The way of using roads by the various users determines the choice of light intensity and homogenity. The chosen light conditions can be realised by using various types of bulbs high and low pressure mercury of sodium discharge tubes, poles, distances between façades and wall illumination, etc. Not only costs of energy and color of light but also the combination with other "street furnishure" plays an important role.
