In this paper the design and results of a former TNO Institute for Perception (IZF) study are briefly summarized. The title of this TNO study is: "Visual search at intersections: an eye movement analysis". The TNO study is a continuation of a series of studies conducted into the visual selection field. In the paper a consideration is given on the results of the TNO study. It is stated, among other things, that in the TNO study: (1) attention was mainly given to `viewing' and `choice times' of the test subjects; and (2) that their registrated eye movements were surveyed to a certain degree, but were not studied extensively. Recommendations are made for further research into the visual selection field. See also C 1050 (IRRD 856915).
