Abstract
The German ADAC and the Bundesverkehrsministerium commissioned an independent research institute to conduct dynamic tests on a number of car seats and safety belts for children. Stiffing Warentest reports on the findings of these simulated head-on impact tests. ADAC formulated the summarised findings as follows: As long as there is no clear medical insight into the tolerance of the child's body, no restraint system can be advised without reservations.
