Abstract
The research deals with the analysis and evaluation of test-trips made by a platoon of seven vehicles, equipped, with collision-avoidance-warning-systems that operate according to a predefined safe-headway strategy. It was concluded that the vehicles in the platoon behaved in a safer and more stable manner when the collision-avoidance-warning-system was used.
