Abstract

In the 2nd part of the study the results of the surveys concerning the speed limit of 120 Km/h and the compulsory wearing of safety belts, are outlined. In view of a definite decision regarding the possible keeping of a speed limit on the motorways it is advisable to know the opinion of the drivers and the Belgians on the subject after coming into effect of the experimental stage at 120 km/h. It is also studied in how far the Belgians are in favour of the compulsory wearing of safety belts outside the built up areas.
