Abstract

After a simplified theory on the way safety belt works in a rear and collision, its efficiency is discussed on the basis of 3000 accidents, happened in the departments of "Yvelines" and "Hauts-de Seine" In statistics it is shown what sorts of accidents happened, with which objects, how serious passengers and drivers were wounded, and whether they were using their safety belts.
