Abstract

The new tendencies in transportation management include the searching of alternative solutions with an optimized road network use. These solutions include the travel demand management strategies with land use regulation. In the `sustainable' development context, the urban form analysis and the management of existing land use occupation have been proposed for a better performance of the system. (A) The English title of the paper is: "The urban planning and the effects on the congestion phenomena".
