Abstract
Researchers of ONSER have taken part in a working-group, whose task was to design facilities and safety features for traffic in the new town of le Vaudreuil. The main characteristic of this consultancy was, that the law was still being built and not yet inhabited at the time when the study took place, and traffic was therefore still at the stage of assumptions. Special attention was given to road safety problems that could be predicted from the choice of the types and features of the town networks.
