Abstract

A labour economist at the International Brotherhood of Teamsters discusses urban goods movement in the light of teamster contracts and practices and the union's position on technological change. Because of the diversity and number of teamster contracts it is not possible to give a comprehensive survey of labour practices and problems in goods movement.
