Abstract

Workable methods to determine the wear and polishing properties of aggregates and bituminous paving mixtures in the laboratory are developed. It may be possible to improve marginal polish-resistant aggregates to an acceptable level by blending appropriate percentages of high "polish-resistant" aggregates.
