Abstract

The moisture susceptibility and strength characteristics of recycled hot mixes are examined and compared with those of the conventional mix. The results indicate that both recycled mixes have good resistance to damage due to moisture. However, with respect to stability and deformation, recycled hot mixes have relatively higher compressive and shear strengths.
