Abstract

372 tests were performed for the investigation of lacerative properties of human skin during impact. It was found that the severities of lacerative injury of skin depends on the applied load, the lacerative resistance, and on the geometrical shape of impactor. It is also showed that lacerative resistance of human skin is dependent upon body region, human subject and age.
