Laminated and toughened safety glass windscreens : a review and evaluation.

Abstract

Two major types of safety glass are currently used for motor vehicle windscreens: laminated safety glass and toughened glass. Of these types, laminated safety glass has distinct safety advantages compared with toughened glass with respect to protection of the vehicle occupant both from penetration into the vehicle of foreign bodies.
