Abstract

Experience has shown that many vehicles have faulty lights. For example, out of several hundred new vehicles, 42% were found to have at least one badly aimed headlight. The percentage found for vehicles checked during the "lighting" campaigns of 1976 was 79,3%, whereas for vehicles undergoing compulsory technical inspection, it varied between 11,5 and 16%.
