Abstract
The possibilities to improve existing residential areas as far as space, traffic, recreational facilities etc. are concerned are often scarce. A few ministeries have joined forces to find out what measures would positively affect the quality of the amenities. Road safety, traffic circulation and noise nuisance get no less attention than te people's opinion about and their usage of public space. This article goes further into this last aspect.
