Abstract

Law enforcement is officially defined as law enforcement as it applies to statutes, ordinances and regulations to use of streets and highways and ownership and operation of motor vehicles. It involves in general two functions: police traffic law enforcement and court traffic law enforcement. The five major phases of enforcement actions are detection, appretension, prosecution, adjudication and penalization.
