Abstract

Transport hubs are facilities where travellers can transfer from one means of transport to another. Their design and arrangement involves a complicates process: Where should they be built? How should they look? Who should be involved in the design process? 'Transport hub categorisation guideline - design tool' has been developed to make better use of the experiences with other transport hubs. It describes experiences related to the realisation of transport hubs. It describes experiences related to the realisation of transport hubs as regards both content and development. The design of a transport hub takes place in several steps. The approach presented in this guideline requires of such steps.
