Abstract

The introduction recalls to mind the duties of technical inspections, principally entrusted with the verification of all parts of the vehicle with an influence on safety, the inspectors being expected to detect faults but not to mend. The principles of organising stations into inspection lines is states and the basic equipment of an inspection line is itemised. Other instruments are mentioned as experimental equipment. (A)
