Abstract

The traffic hump has been investigated, with regard to marking, shape and construction. The traffic hump is defined as; a rise over a short length and over the whole width of the pavement. Vehicle-technical aspects and the speed regulating effects of several hump shapes are researched. The results of this investigation, conclusions and recommendations are presented.
