Abstract

"Let's Decide : Walk Wise" is intended to help make children safer pedestrians. The project aims to give an interesting and exciting experience to young children in early primary years. Children learn best by being in the real situation, but in the past far too much road safety education has taken place in the classroom. To learn children how to be safe outside, children must be exposed to the real road/traffic situation. The emphasis therefore is on practical experience under the supervising protection and control of responsible audits. This supervision must continue even after the project has finished. (A)
