Abstract

Electrographical studies of the retina show possible objective and quantitative measures during readaptation and show the possible to formulate this process in mathematical terms. These terms can be the basis for the calculation of the illumination of roads and vehicles, an illumination which is adapted to the biological conditions of the retina.
