Abstract

Immunities are the freedom from all tort liability as a favoured dependent. This paper is in particular concerned with governmental immunity. Immunity to liability has not completely been eliminated. It still exists as part of the dual character of functions provided for the government. However, where governmental immunity exists, it does not cover all government functions. This paper reviews some juridical cases on this subject.
