Abstract

703 men (aged 18- 24 years) were surveyed concerning their beliefs on drinking- driving, drinking- driving behaviors, life- style, media use, and demographics. A typology is developed that identifies different types of drinking drivers, including segments that likely can and cannot be influenced by media campaigns.
