Abstract

The purpose of this scoping study, instigated by the European Commission, is to support and help inform any future revisions of specific type approval test procedures related to emissions and the environmental utility of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs). The objective of the project was to identify tests to be performed and the parameters to be measured with regard to the type approval of light duty electric and hybrid vehicles (EVs and HEVs respectively).
