Abstract

Reflection at rough surfaces is described as (1). Specular component defined by the distribution of the directions of orientation of the facets and their mutual shading, and (2)(Diffuse) component determined by some diffuse distribution function yet to be defined, which also incorporates a shading effect. The behaviour of these functions are investigated for a test surface.
