Abstract

In order to find out the luminance values to be provided in short tunnels, necessary to prevent the "dark frame" effect, the daylight penetrating through the entrance and the exit was measured and the influence of the penetrating daylight on the luminance contrast of the critical object located in artificially lit short tunnels was surveyed.
