Abstract
Discussion on the effectiveness of such surveys as a forecasting technique for use in planning 3 types of technique are evaluated. The survey investigated 5 areas of concern: 1. attitude towards housing 2. toward town 3. toward state. 4. leisure time and recreation and 5. social characteristics of the respondent. The findings indicate that people from different environments, even though within the same social strata, have different attitudes towards these 5 areas.
