Abstract

An 86 metre long wall, having a maximum height of 6 metres, was constructed using the TRL Anchored Earth system in 1984 as part of the A660 Otley bypass. The performance of the wall has been monitored from the outset and this report presents and discusses the site data collected in the ten years following the end of construction. The data show that the wall is stable and will provide satisfactory service for its intended design life of 120 years. (A)
