Abstract

The aim of the study is to examine the nature of lower life injury amongst seriously or fatally injured car occupants involved in frontal impacts. Frontal impacts have been selected for study because most recent work concerned with cadaver tolerance testing or dummy injury criteria has attempted to simulate the effects of direct blows to the knee.
