SPINAL INJURIES ARE UNCOMMON IN CHILDREN AND QUITE RARE IN THE LUMBAR SPINE. A CASE REPORT OF AN 8-YEAR-OLD CHILD SUSTAINING A LUMBAR SEATBELT INJURY WITH SUCCESSFUL SURGICAL TREATMENT CONSISTING OF REDUCTION AND STABILIZATION WITH TWO SMALL HARRINGTON COMPRESSION RODS, AND FUSION WITH AN ILIAC CREST AUTOLOGOUS GRAFT IS PRESENTED.(Author/publisher).
