Abstract

The problem of the perception of intermittent signals for traffic safety is considered, how this perception can be improved for photopic and mesopic adaption and how to avoid disturbances in vision by intermittent signals situated in some part of the field of vision. The perception of intermittent light is proposed for a quick examination of the central and peripheral vision.
