Abstract
Some possible measures for the improvement of carpooling are presented. It is concluded that one measure can be profitable. Measures discussed are cost-related measures e.g. free parking, subsidies; priority treatment in traffic flow; special traffic lanes, and comfort-related measures as reserved parking places and staggered working hours.
