Abstract

This paper is a brief summary of the thesis titled "Changing consumer behaviour through eco-efficient services: an empirical study on car sharing in the Netherlands". In this summary, an insight is given into the policy dimensions of car sharing. The following effects of car sharing are described: spatial, mobility and environmental effects. It is shown why it is interesting to invest in the development of car sharing, from a policy point of view.
