Abstract
The revision of the Code of Practice is nearing completion and this paper reviews the latest developments. One these is the inclusion of comprehensive uniformity data in the photometric performance tables. Examples of the use of the new Code are given. These demonstrate that wider spacings will result, leading to savings in cost of roughly 10%.
