Abstract

Mercantile marine cargo turnover holds the first place in the world among all types of transportation. The major task of mercantile marine commercial planning is scheduling the cargo shipments. The paper presents a man-machine interactive system for this. It includes database, dialogue language, simulation model and decision making and estimation algorithms.
