Abstract

Most countries are facing road congestion problems that affect the quality of life and are a burden to the economy. Various countermeasures have been tested but the problem is far from being solved. This session will present the results of recent studies on the analysis of congestion phenomena, identification of causes, and evaluation of measures implemented in various countries for both urban and interurban areas, in the field of transport demand management and user information. For the covering abstract see ITRD E139491.
